Plymouth Exposed: new paintings by Richard Allman

These are all based on various spots or buildings in Plymouth that fascinate me: some are unexpected angles, some contain strange contrasts, some have an ironic twist – and some celebrate the removal of eyesores or mourn the loss of a favourite landmark….. There are also a number of drawings of the theatre’s huge new sculpture ‘Messenger’.
